Christmas is coming, Toby's getting fat...

Greetings all of you out there in blogland! 3 days to go...are you excited?

First of all, I'm very sorry I didn't manage to update my blog on time Sunday! I have no real excuse, I actually just forgot. But my reason for forgetting is I've been watching Season 3 of Heroes on DVD, which I will come onto later. So yes, very sorry, and I will try to update on time this week to make up for it. Anyway, onto the blog!

I realised after publishing last weeks blog one slightly large error; namely the title. It was actually a reference to something I totally forgot to include in my post. If you read last week, you'll understand my fascination with the video game Half-Life 2. Well I'm currently waiting for the final installment in this story arc, Half-Life 2: Episode 3. It's been ages since they released Half-Life 2: Episode 2, and I want this new one to be released! Hence, come on Valve (the company that makes them if you hadn't worked that out). They usually delay their games a lot, taking the time to perfect every detail, so I don't mind waiting. It's just they've released virtually no details about it for quite some time. This makes me sad.

Oh well, enough of my geekiness! It's almost Christmas, yay! I'm reasonably excited, though not as much as I have been in previous years. I'm just not in that Christmassy a mood right now...so to help me get into it, tomorrow I'm watching Love Actually, A Muppet Christmas Carol, and any other Christmas films I can get my hands on - because I'm cool. Speaking of the Muppets, I actually love them. Seriously, Jim Henson is truly a genius for creating them! They're all just so...how can I put this...insane? In a brilliant way of course, all the best people are brilliantly insane. I don't know what it is about them, but they simply fascinate me.

This is traditionally the part in any train of thought where I list who would be my favourite and/or why. And I'd like to it's just...I'm torn. I can't decide! At gunpoint, I'd probably have to go with Animal I think. Though that brings up the question as to why someone is holding me at gunpoint and asking what my favourite muppet character is...however, if that situation occurred I'm not sure I'd be questioning! But yes, Animal; I love him. He's hilarious, unkempt and a musician - the ideal Bohemian. Plus he makes some hilariously amusing noises. Second I think would be Gonzo, he's just so strange and weird I can't help but love him! And Rizzo...what a rat. That's all I can say! Light the lamp, not the rat! Ahh, A Muppet's Christmas Carol. Watch it if you haven't already!

Wow, I've written a lot, and my hands are really aching. No that isn't why, you dirty minded people! No biscuits for you. Don't give me those eyes. Oh fine, have them I don't care. In any case it's been a pleasure as always, thank you for listening. The thought I'll leave you with this week is: why does it always snow everywhere else in the country except for where I am? Damn you, world...I mean, sir.
