Girls are weird. But the internet is far weirder.

Evening blog fans! How is everything in non-blog land?

This week I've been spending my time sorting out all my stuff into my new house; after finishing unpacking, I did a little work, met a few friends...and managed to get myself locked out of my room this morning.

Yes, I'm that clever. My door has one of those locks that automatically locks itself when the door closes, but normally my door stays open by itself just fine. So when I went down to get some breakfast this morning I thought nothing of it until I got back upstairs...and found my door closed. Shit. Which means I got to spend about two hours sitting on my sofa until (luckily for me) my housemate moved in and I was able to phone my landlord and get let in. Phew.

And the one thing I've taken away from this wonderful experience - other than remembering to take my keys with me wherever I go - is that there is nothing on TV on a Sunday morning.

Nothing. Nothing at all. Nothing.

Because I've realised that these days, I get all of my entertainment from that fantastical, mysterious land known as the internet. Praise be! It's such a wonderful source of material to keep anyone entertained for ages. But for every interesting thing on there, there are about ten very odd, very strange things (and about a hundred porn websites - some of which are very strange).

Now we've all seen stuff like Charlie the Unicorn and Amazing Horse, and websites like www.explosm.net. But other countries have contributed too. Like this video from South Africa for example, which I must warn you in advance contains some very explicit, very hilarious lyrics. Take a peek:

Interesting, yes? But definitely strange. But interesting strange. At least I think so. Okay, now watch it again, and bear in mind the fact that this guy is basically the Ali G of South Africa. Much funnier this time right? The first time I saw it, I was rather concerned about the standard of stuff that can be promoted through the internet, but it being a parody at least gives me a modicum of faith that my beloved internet isn't entirely soiled yet.

So there you have it, a tiny sample of this fascinating library of the weird, the wonderful and the (occaisonally) useful. I hope you've enjoyed the brief glimpse I've shown you, and appreciate that I did it while watching Bad Boys.

See, men can totally multitask.
